A curated local ruleset covers common adult domains from the moment Protection is enabled and can expand through future Deter updates. Chromium enforces the redirect before the destination content renders.

Add the domains that matter to you. Deter normalizes safe domain input, avoids unnecessary custom duplicates when built-in coverage already applies, and includes subdomains.

Strict Mode

When enabled, Strict Mode adds a five-minute delay before Protection can be turned off. The delay gives your earlier decision time to catch up with the immediate urge.

Write the reasons you want to protect your focus. One can appear on the intervention page when it is most useful.

Trigger awareness

A visible five-minute timer helps you step away from the immediate urge. The Reset is intentionally simple: make space, change context, and return after the strongest moment has had time to pass.
